The Scorch is the boundary-smashing culmination of decades of evolution, combining and refining features from industry-leading designs like the Burn (uncompromisingly sharp rails), 9R (volume distribution and bow rocker), and Ripper (fast and nimble planing hull); the hybrid rocker profile adds to this with the progressive bow rocker being efficient on the move, planing over even the burliest of features, whilst the stern kick-rocker gets the back edge of the boat out of your way on the lip of drops and ensures you skip out over whatever lies in wait below; a fine balance of length and edge carries speed and maintains precise lines, even in boily, unpredictable water; and the generous but carefully tailored volume keeps you on top of the water and gives you the capacity to carry all your essentials without blocking your paddle strokes.

This is the boat for dry-hair days on local creeks, dialling in moves and lines, and packing those lessons up and carrying them through to the wildest missions and expeditions you can dream of.

  • Stern Kick Rocker. Gets the stern of the boat out of your way on the lip of drops.
  • Tapered Stern Volume and sidewalls. When the bow goes up, the stern must go down; wedge-shaped sidewalls and tapering volume towards the stern help you get the stern down and lift the bow when the boat is on edge.
  • Cut-Off Stern Edge. Clean release of surface tension for fast paddling, and at the edge of a drop too.

NEW ZEALAND DELIVERY 

For delivery of orders within New Zealand, excluding boats and oversized items:

  • All local orders over NZD $149 are shipped free using a standard signature-required service.
  • All local orders under NZD $149 are charged a flat fee of NZD $8 and are shipped using standard signature-required service.
  • We mostly use Post Haste Couriers as our courier service
  • Allow 1-2 business days for standard South Island shipping and 2-3 business days for the North Island.
  • Rural Address and PO box numbers please add business 2 days.
  • Once your order has been dispatched you will receive an email with tracking information.
  • Once your order has left the store it is at the mercy of the couriers. Please check your tracking information and contact the couriers if it has not arrived when expected.

HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO RECEIVE MY ORDER?

  • Allow 1-2 business days for standard South Island shipping and 2-3 business days for the North Island.
  • Rural Address and PO Boxes, please add 2 more days.
  • We try our best to get your orders out to you ASAP, however, during our peak times (Christmas, Sale week etc), we may need an extra day to process them.
  • These estimates are for a perfect world when courier companies work on time and natural disasters and pandemics are at bay. Once it has left the shop it is sometimes up to the shipping gods!

CAN I CHANGE MY ADDRESS AFTER I ORDER?

  • We can’t change addresses in the system once your order has been placed, however, send an email to hello@furtherfaster.co.nz or call us in-store and we will endeavour to change the address.
  • Please let us know before order cut off at 1pm daily.

INSTORE PICK UP / CLICK & COLLECT

  • We offer an in-store pick up service.
  • This is contactless, please order online and choose Pick-Up.
  • You will be notified when your order is ready for collection.
  • Collection can be made during opening hours at

WHERE IS MY ORDER: 

  • Once your order has been shipped you will receive a Shipment Order Email. This will have a link to your tracking details, you can use this link to find the location of your parcel and contact the courier company to see how far away it is.
  • If you have not received a confirmation email within 24hrs, please check your junk box in your email, as some times we need to get in touch with you and emails do happen to end up in there!
  • Alternatively, speak to our order guru 'Bot-Bruce', and he can find the tracking details for you in the chat section of this pop-up. Just ask him, 'Where is my order?' and follow the prompts 🐻.

 

INTERNATIONAL DELIVERY (AUSTRALIA, USA)

  • All Australian orders are charged a flat fee of NZD $35 and are shipped using a standard service (not including boats or paddles).  Paddles are NZD $125 for 2 and 4 piece paddles and NZD $195 for 1 piece paddles.
  • All North American orders are charged a flat fee of NZD $90 and are shipped using a standard service (not including boats or paddles).
  • Standard delivery times for international orders can vary from 5 business days to 6 weeks.
  • Once your item has been dispatched you will receive an email with tracking information.
  • International orders do not come with a signature delivery confirmation.
  • Please do not buy products with eggs or bacon, as international customs do not like this and your order may be confiscated at your own cost (no one wants wasted bacon and eggs!)
  • NZ GST: For international orders New Zealand sales tax (GST) is not included in the price. However the price shown on the website is the price to be paid regardless of the country to be shipped to. 

SPECIAL ORDER ITEMS

  • All orders are shipped from our Christchurch store and usually leave the next working day. If for some reason we don't have the item you ordered we will notify you as soon as possible and let you know when you can expect delivery. Special order for non stocked items vary however are usually 2-6 weeks.
