The WILD debuted to great acclaim in December last year and is now set to become a classic on the NZ calendar. It’s creator, Mal Law, spent some five years battling to bring the event to life and continues as one of seven passionate trail runners who now make up the organising committee at The WILD For Nature Trust.

We are stoked to have Mal in store to share stories about this - the longest ultra he has ever run - and the Trust’s vision for building an iconic international festival of mountain running and becoming a catalyst for runner-powered native habitat restoration work throughout Aotearoa.
