Event: KASK KayakSafe.

The Kiwi Association of Sea Kayakers presents its FREE National Kayak Safety Workshop (Christchurch Edition). That's right; it's FREE! 

This evening is an introduction to 'safety on the water' and is for those new to kayaking. They will cover everything from PFDs (Personal Floatation Devices) and marine forecasts to trip planning and how to stay out of trouble on the water. 

This is a two-part event, with the first part taking place in-store as a presentation and the second part on Saturday 26th of November, being a practical one, on the water at Cass Bay. (You need to do part one before you do part two).

NOTE: Please note that this is NOT a kayaking skills class - they won't be covering rescues or rolling but can help you find out where to learn them and put you in touch with the local kayaking community.

When: Tuesday, November 22nd, 2022. 

Time: Doors open at 6.00 pm for a 6:30 pm start.

Where: Further Faster, 57a Buchan St, Sydenham, Christchurch.
