EVENT - 16 OCT: Dirt Church Radio LIVE
After the success of their first in-store podcast recording at the shop, the team from Dirt Church Radio are back!
Matt Rayment, Ali Pottinger and Andrew McDowall are bringing “Aotearoa’s third favourite forest-based running podcast” to the shop LIVE!
With special guests, running banter and, of course, the chance to ask your burning questions!
About the team:
Matt Rayment lives in Riverhead with his wife and three children. He likes punk rock, books, and running. Sure of the fact that running and Fugazi saved his life, Matt can frequently be found dancing to all the wrong songs.
Ali Pottinger has a love of sport and the outdoors and, after a stint in the UK as a teacher came home to NZ and re-fell in love with backcountry hiking, trail and ultra running. She’s since quit her job teaching children to teach people to run as an accredited coach.
Andrew McDowall rediscovered running when his friends challenged him to run the Rotorua Marathon, which led him to discover ultra running when he stopped touring with bands as a musician, swapping one addiction for another. He flexes his musical muscles as a composer and sound engineer, while he uses his running muscles on the trail.
So come and be part of Dirt Church Radio LIVE, bring your friends and get ready for a night of running inspiration:
