We are so excited to have Emma Timmis join us live in the store to share some of her amazing adventures, hardships, and talk about her book, 'The Girl Who Ran Across Africa'. Her adventures dont stop in Africa though...

Emma Timmis is an artist, athlete and author.  She has spent the last ten years traveling all over the world tackling some epic endurance feats from roller-skating across The Netherlands to riding an elliptical bike across Australia.  

Emma's life was all about pushing her physical limits until an undiagnosable leg injury in 2017 guided her to change her focus in life.  Hear about how this unexpected situation lead to the writing of The Girl Who Ran Across Africa.

The Girl Who Ran Across Africa is a TRUE story about a tough girl on a big adventure! The journey takes you from beach to jungle, through some of Africa's most demanding environments. Emma is tested with many obstacles along the way and she has to dig deep to reach her goal.

This book is full of excitement and adventure.
