We designed these for hardcore trail runners who love our regular Sherpa Shorts but want to go that extra mile (or 50!) without wearing a backpack.

Sizing Notes:

These are unisex design so men should wear their regular Sherpa size, while women should size down (eg. women's M = unisex S). Also, please note the extra secure waistband will feel tighter initially, but relax over time. We use Asian sizing, which can be up to half a size smaller than Western sizing.

NEW ZEALAND DELIVERY

For delivery of orders within New Zealand, excluding boats and oversized items:

  • All local orders NZD $199 and over are shipped free using a standard signature-required service.
  • All local orders under NZD $199 are charged a flat fee of NZD $10 and are shipped using standard signature-required service.
  • We mostly use Post Haste Couriers as our courier service
  • Allow 1-2 business days for standard South Island shipping and 2-3 business days for the North Island.
  • Rural Address and PO box numbers please add business 2 days.
  • Once your order has been dispatched you will receive an email with tracking information.
  • Once your order has left the store it is at the mercy of the couriers. Please check your tracking information and contact the couriers if it has not arrived when expected.

HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO RECEIVE MY ORDER?

  • Allow 1-2 business days for standard South Island shipping and 2-3 business days for the North Island.
  • Rural Address and PO Boxes, please add 2 more days.
  • We try our best to get your orders out to you ASAP, however, during our peak times (Christmas, Sale week etc), we may need an extra day to process them.
  • These estimates are for a perfect world when courier companies work on time and natural disasters and pandemics are at bay. Once it has left the shop it is sometimes up to the shipping gods!

CAN I CHANGE MY ADDRESS AFTER I ORDER?

  • We can’t change addresses in the system once your order has been placed, however, send an email to hello@furtherfaster.co.nz or call us in-store and we will endeavour to change the address.
  • Please let us know before order cut off at 1pm daily.

INSTORE PICK UP / CLICK & COLLECT

  • We offer an in-store pick up service.
  • This is contactless, please order online and choose Pick-Up.
  • You will be notified when your order is ready for collection.
  • Collection can be made during opening hours at

WHERE IS MY ORDER: 

  • Once your order has been shipped you will receive a Shipment Order Email. This will have a link to your tracking details, you can use this link to find the location of your parcel and contact the courier company to see how far away it is.
  • If you have not received a confirmation email within 24hrs, please check your junk box in your email, as some times we need to get in touch with you and emails do happen to end up in there!
  • Alternatively, speak to our order guru 'Bot-Bruce', and he can find the tracking details for you in the chat section of this pop-up. Just ask him, 'Where is my order?' and follow the prompts 🐻.

 

INTERNATIONAL DELIVERY (AUSTRALIA, USA)

  • All Australian orders are charged a flat fee of NZD $35 and are shipped using a standard service (not including boats or paddles).  Paddles are NZD $125 for 2 and 4 piece paddles and NZD $195 for 1 piece paddles.
  • All North American orders are charged a flat fee of NZD $90 and are shipped using a standard service (not including boats or paddles).
  • Standard delivery times for international orders can vary from 5 business days to 6 weeks.
  • Once your item has been dispatched you will receive an email with tracking information.
  • International orders do not come with a signature delivery confirmation.
  • Please do not buy products with eggs or bacon, as international customs do not like this and your order may be confiscated at your own cost (no one wants wasted bacon and eggs!)
  • NZ GST: For international orders New Zealand sales tax (GST) is not included in the price. However the price shown on the website is the price to be paid regardless of the country to be shipped to. 

SPECIAL ORDER ITEMS

  • All orders are shipped from our Christchurch store and usually leave the next working day. If for some reason we don't have the item you ordered we will notify you as soon as possible and let you know when you can expect delivery. Special order for non stocked items vary however are usually 2-6 weeks.

BOATS
Need your boat shipped? No problem! 

Shipping is excluded at time of purchase. The team will calculate this separately after your purchase and contact you with the best rates at the time.

As a cost indication shipping typically starts at $99 for smaller boats and $150 for longer, larger boats. Cost will also vary depending on where in NZ needs to go.

Boats are delivered to your nearest Mainfreight Depot for you to collect from there.

Great shorts

Can fit heaps of stuff with minimal bounce. Great shorts.

Excellent product

Excellent product, dont be put off by the sizing instructions, the waistband fit does develop as the new fabric eases and settles. Key holder is really good along with the waistband pockets, saves me carrying a bunch of stuff in my shirt (actually a bike shirt w. rear pockets). This achieves a much better overall bal;ance with the bits carried on the hips instead of elsewhere also = bounce reduced. Great fabric, very high quality. Pair with the matching underwear product.

I’ve had these shorts for over a year now and use them almost daily—for long runs, short runs, and everything in between. I’ve even completed several ultra distances where I completely ditched the vest and relied solely on the storage of these shorts.

The waist belt storage is incredible. For longer runs, I can comfortably fit a 0.5 L soft flask, multiple gels and power bars, my PLB, phone, a rain jacket, and a small first aid kit—and somehow there’s still room to spare. Everything stays secure with zero bounce.

I love the snug, compressive fit. That said, I strongly recommend sizing up from your usual running shorts. I’m normally between a 32–34 waist, but the Medium felt too tight around the waist. Exchanging for a Large was the right call.

Highly recommend pairing these shorts with T8 underwear—they work perfectly together. Overall, I absolutely love them and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them for ultra distances or any run where you want to carry everything without a vest.

Who wears short shorts?

I used to not go running, because my Fitbit was crapping out and if it's not on Strava, did it really happen...?

...Now I run with Strava on my phone, and my phone in the elasticated storage pouch in the waist band of these shorts... I'm like a skinny, pale, telly-tubby with chicken legs.

Seriously though, good shorts; the storage is really handy.
