Hike-to-climb adaptability
Looking for a lightweight, versatile hiking shoe that you can approach and climb in on exposed, technical terrain? Look no further. The Wildfire Edge is a nimble tech approach shoe that switches quickly and easily from hiking mode to climbing mode. Designed together with and tested extensively by professional climbers and mountain guides in the Dolomites, the Salewa Switchfit system is as simple as it is smart. By lacing and tensioning the additional eyelet, you pull your foot forward similar to a climbing shoe. The result: better edging and smearing and increased security on technical terrain. To convert back to hiking mode, simply loosen the laces for a roomy toebox and hiking comfort.
GORE-TEX® Extended Comfort
Inside the highly abrasion-resistant suede leather and microfibre upper, the waterproof and breathable GORE-TEX® Extended Comfort liner provides maximum comfort for a wide variety of climate ranges. It keeps your feet dry in wet weather, but still allows moisture vapour to escape when you are working hard.
Climbing precision
To further enhance climbing precision, the Wildfire Edge’s insole incorporates an additional stiff Edging Plate in the insole right under the forefoot for extra, directional stiffness, while the rest of the insole remains flexible to ensure good comfort and a natural rolling motion.
Sticky rubber
The Pomoca Speed MTN sole is made of sticky rubber for extra grip and friction on smooth rock and slabs. The outsole design offers a balance of grip and traction and has a special lug profile that has been proven on mud and soft terrain. It provides effective grip in both wet and dry conditions.
Alpine Fit
For enhanced torsional stability, the Exa shell protects and wraps the foot preventing internal foot slipping. The 3F System wraps the foot to guarantee a good fit and provide support whilst still allowing flexibility. Climbing Lacing provides an adjustable fit right down to the toe. The high-quality Multi Fit Footbed Plus (MFF+) has interchangeable sections so you can fine-tune it to the shape of your foot. This shoe is made with our trademark Alpine Fit and 100% blister free guarantee.

NEW ZEALAND DELIVERY
For delivery of orders within New Zealand, excluding boats and oversized items:
- All local orders over NZD $149 are shipped free using a standard signature required service.
- All local orders under NZD $149 are charged a flat fee of NZD $8 and are shipped using standard signature required service.
- We mostly use Post Haste Couriers as our courier service
- Allow 1-2 business days for standard South Island shipping and 2-3 business days for the North Island.
- Rural Address and PO box numbers please add business 2 days.
- Once your order has been dispatched you will receive an email with tracking information.
- Once your order has left the store it is at the mercy of the couriers. Please check your tracking information and contact the couriers if it has not arrived when expected.
HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO RECEIVE MY ORDER?
- Allow 1-2 business days for standard South Island shipping and 2-3 business days for the North Island.
- Rural Address and PO Boxes, please add 2 more days.
- We try our best to get your orders out to you ASAP, however, during our peak times (Christmas, Sale week etc), we may need an extra day to process them.
- These estimates are for a perfect world when courier companies work on time and natural disasters and pandemics are at bay. Once it has left the shop it is sometimes up to the shipping gods!

CAN I CHANGE MY ADDRESS AFTER I ORDER?
- We can’t change addresses in the system once your order has been placed, however, send an email to hello@furtherfaster.co.nz or call us in-store and we will endeavour to change the address.
- Please let us know before order cut off at 1pm daily.
INSTORE PICK UP / CLICK & COLLECT
- We offer an in-store pick up service.
- This is contactless, please order online and choose Pick-Up.
- You will be notified when your order is ready for collection.

WHERE IS MY ORDER:
- Once your order has been shipped you will receive a Shipment Order Email. This will have a link to your tracking details, you can use this link to find the location of your parcel and contact the courier company to see how far away it is.
- If you have not received a confirmation email within 24hrs, please check your junk box in your email, as some times we need to get in touch with you and emails do happen to end up in there!
- Alternatively, speak to our order guru 'Bot-Bruce', and he can find the tracking details for you in the chat section of this pop-up. Just ask him, 'Where is my order?' and follow the prompts 🐻.
INTERNATIONAL DELIVERY (AUSTRALIA, USA)
- All Australian orders are charged a flat fee of NZD $35 and are shipped using a standard service (not including boats or paddles). Paddles are NZD $125 for 2 and 4 piece paddles and NZD $195 for 1 piece paddles.
- All North American orders are charged a flat fee of NZD $90 and are shipped using a standard service (not including boats or paddles).
- Standard delivery times for international orders can vary from 5 business days to 6 weeks.
- Once your item has been dispatched you will receive an email with tracking information.
- International orders do not come with a signature delivery confirmation.
- Please do not buy products with eggs or bacon, as international customs do not like this and your order may be confiscated at your own cost (no one wants wasted bacon and eggs!)
- NZ GST: For international orders New Zealand sales tax (GST) is not included in the price. However the price shown on the website is the price to be paid regardless of the country to be shipped to.
SPECIAL ORDER ITEMS
- All orders are shipped from our Christchurch store and usually leave the next working day. If for some reason we don't have the item you ordered we will notify you as soon as possible and let you know when you can expect delivery. Special order for non stocked items vary however are usually 2-6 weeks.
BOATS
Need your boat shipped? No problem!
Shipping is excluded at time of purchase. The team will calculate this separately after your purchase and contact you with the best rates at the time.
As a cost indication shipping typically starts at $99 for smaller boats and $150 for longer, larger boats. Cost will also vary depending on where in NZ needs to go.
Boats are delivered to your nearest Mainfreight Depot for you to collect from there.
