The Roamer is an adjustable stretch-webbing running dog leash that can be hand-held or worn around the waist. 

The Roamer™ is an adjustable stretch-webbing running dog leash that can be hand-held or worn around the waist for a dynamic hands-free leash experience. Wavelength™ stretch webbing keeps humans and canines connected while allowing an extended range for roaming and exploring.

The side-release buckle on the handle is easy to use and reinforced with an aluminium uniloop for exceptional strength, adjusting easily when wearing around the waist. Ruffwear’s unique Talon Clip™ offers a strong and secure connection to your dog.

It includes Ruffwear's signature leash features like a padded handle, an accessory loop for pick-up bags or small attachable leash accessories, and strong webbing that holds its colour so it can be your favorite leash for years to come. Waist adjusts up to 48 in (122 cm).

NEW ZEALAND DELIVERY

For delivery of orders within New Zealand, excluding boats and oversized items:

  • All local orders NZD $199 and over are shipped free using a standard signature-required service.
  • All local orders under NZD $199 are charged a flat fee of NZD $10 and are shipped using standard signature-required service.
  • We mostly use Post Haste Couriers as our courier service
  • Allow 1-2 business days for standard South Island shipping and 2-3 business days for the North Island.
  • Rural Address and PO box numbers please add business 2 days.
  • Once your order has been dispatched you will receive an email with tracking information.
  • Once your order has left the store it is at the mercy of the couriers. Please check your tracking information and contact the couriers if it has not arrived when expected.

HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO RECEIVE MY ORDER?

  • Allow 1-2 business days for standard South Island shipping and 2-3 business days for the North Island.
  • Rural Address and PO Boxes, please add 2 more days.
  • We try our best to get your orders out to you ASAP, however, during our peak times (Christmas, Sale week etc), we may need an extra day to process them.

CAN I CHANGE MY ADDRESS AFTER I ORDER?

  • We can’t change addresses in the system once your order has been placed, however, send an email to hello@furtherfaster.co.nz or call us in-store and we will endeavour to change the address.
  • Please let us know before order cut off at 1pm daily.

INSTORE PICK UP / CLICK & COLLECT

  • We offer an in-store pick up service.
  • This is contactless, please order online and choose Pick-Up.
  • You will be notified when your order is ready for collection.

WHERE IS MY ORDER: 

  • Once your order has been shipped you will receive a Shipment Order Email. This will have a link to your tracking details, you can use this link to find the location of your parcel and contact the courier company to see how far away it is.
  • If you have not received a confirmation email within 24hrs, please check your junk box in your email, as some times we need to get in touch with you and emails do happen to end up in there!
  • Alternatively, speak to our order guru 'Bot-Bruce', and he can find the tracking details for you in the chat section of this pop-up. Just ask him, 'Where is my order?' and follow the prompts 🐻.

 

INTERNATIONAL DELIVERY (AUSTRALIA, USA)

  • All Australian orders are charged a flat fee of NZD $35 and are shipped using a standard service (not including boats or paddles).  Paddles are NZD $125 for 2 and 4 piece paddles and NZD $195 for 1 piece paddles.
  • All North American orders are charged a flat fee of NZD $90 and are shipped using a standard service (not including boats or paddles).
  • Standard delivery times for international orders can vary from 5 business days to 6 weeks.
  • Once your item has been dispatched you will receive an email with tracking information.
  • International orders do not come with a signature delivery confirmation.
  • Please do not buy products with eggs or bacon, as international customs do not like this and your order may be confiscated at your own cost (no one wants wasted bacon and eggs!)
  • NZ GST: For international orders New Zealand sales tax (GST) is not included in the price. However the price shown on the website is the price to be paid regardless of the country to be shipped to. 

SPECIAL ORDER ITEMS

  • All orders are shipped from our Christchurch store and usually leave the next working day. If for some reason we don't have the item you ordered we will notify you as soon as possible and let you know when you can expect delivery. Special order for non stocked items vary however are usually 2-6 weeks.

BOATS
Need your boat shipped? No problem! 

Shipping is excluded at time of purchase. The team will calculate this separately after your purchase and contact you with the best rates at the time.

As a cost indication shipping typically starts at $99 for smaller boats and $150 for longer, larger boats. Cost will also vary depending on where in NZ needs to go.

Boats are delivered to your nearest Mainfreight Depot for you to collect from there.

Epic Adventure Lead

Molly and I both love this! We got the longer size, so it works great for hiking, trail running, and also around the stem of a mountain bike when "dogs on leads" is required. Excellent freedom for the dog, while being easy to use and secure for the human - overall build quality is fantastic.

Can be used at a pinch as a camp tether while in the bush, and comes in epic colours. Picked up in the spring sale and would 100% go for this one again!

Best lead ever

Love these leads. I still have the shorter length which is great for on footpaths and road sides but longer one gives your dog more roaming ability on tracks etc. easy to pull them back if need be but love having it around my waist and hands free for running. Would never go back to hand held lead. Great Quality and the Bungee stretch is brilliant for you and dog. I have a stubborn Airedale called Keith and this lead makes run/ walk time great for us both.

All rounder dog lead - the Roamer

Love this lead, so versatile and the bungy section has been a game-changer for running with a dog who likes to both pull and stop suddenly!! Wish I had bought this lead months ago when I first started running with Baxter!!

Fantastic!

What a wonderful lead! It makes walking two large dogs sooo much easier- especially using it in conjunction with the two dog Ruffwear connector. With them being anchored around your waist it allows your hands to be free to makes those necessary collections . Wouldn’t be without it ever again!

Great Product!!

Absolutely love this leash combo! The quality is fantastic, and it’s made walks with my 52kg Ridgeback Mastiff pup so much more enjoyable. It gives her the freedom to sniff and explore to her heart’s content, while still keeping her responsive to recalls — without me worrying about my shoulder being yanked out of place. Solid construction, great design, and the team behind it were an absolute pleasure to work with.
