Ultralight Air-Permeable Primaloft, Core offers the warmth of a fleece but at less than half the weight.

Insulation

A new concept in active insulation, the OMM Core Range is made entirely from PrimaLoft® ACTIVE ultra-light insulating fabric. Built from a synthetic plume woven through a knitted mesh, Core offers the warmth of a fleece but at less-than half the weight.

Paired with a shell, the Core is an incredibly effective insulator but thanks to near-total air permeability, the lightest breeze can take away that heat.

This allows you to keep your Core layer on even when you have warmed up and you can thermoregulate by removing/unzipping your shell (eg. Sonic windproof at 49g).

A true valley to summit piece. Core works wet or dry with incredible wicking properties to ensure you won’t stay wet for long.

Wear the Core Hoodie as a super warm first layer in the coldest of events and challenges from the OMM to the Spine and the Yukon Ultra or pull it on as an insulating midlayer.

The Core Hoodie uses the lightest weight 75g/m2 PrimaLoft® ACTIVE Insulating Fabric Technology, the lighter version of the 125g/m2 PrimaLoft® Active fabric used in the Core Jacket and Core+ Hoodie

NEW ZEALAND DELIVERY

For delivery of orders within New Zealand, excluding boats and oversized items:

  • All local orders NZD $199 and over are shipped free using a standard signature-required service.
  • All local orders under NZD $199 are charged a flat fee of NZD $10 and are shipped using standard signature-required service.
  • We mostly use Post Haste Couriers as our courier service
  • Allow 1-2 business days for standard South Island shipping and 2-3 business days for the North Island.
  • Rural Address and PO box numbers please add business 2 days.
  • Once your order has been dispatched you will receive an email with tracking information.
  • Once your order has left the store it is at the mercy of the couriers. Please check your tracking information and contact the couriers if it has not arrived when expected.

HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO RECEIVE MY ORDER?

  • Allow 1-2 business days for standard South Island shipping and 2-3 business days for the North Island.
  • Rural Address and PO Boxes, please add 2 more days.
  • We try our best to get your orders out to you ASAP, however, during our peak times (Christmas, Sale week etc), we may need an extra day to process them.
  • These estimates are for a perfect world when courier companies work on time and natural disasters and pandemics are at bay. Once it has left the shop it is sometimes up to the shipping gods!

CAN I CHANGE MY ADDRESS AFTER I ORDER?

  • We can’t change addresses in the system once your order has been placed, however, send an email to hello@furtherfaster.co.nz or call us in-store and we will endeavour to change the address.
  • Please let us know before order cut off at 1pm daily.

INSTORE PICK UP / CLICK & COLLECT

  • We offer an in-store pick up service.
  • This is contactless, please order online and choose Pick-Up.
  • You will be notified when your order is ready for collection.

WHERE IS MY ORDER: 

  • Once your order has been shipped you will receive a Shipment Order Email. This will have a link to your tracking details, you can use this link to find the location of your parcel and contact the courier company to see how far away it is.
  • If you have not received a confirmation email within 24hrs, please check your junk box in your email, as some times we need to get in touch with you and emails do happen to end up in there!
  • Alternatively, speak to our order guru 'Bot-Bruce', and he can find the tracking details for you in the chat section of this pop-up. Just ask him, 'Where is my order?' and follow the prompts 🐻.

 

INTERNATIONAL DELIVERY (AUSTRALIA, USA)

  • All Australian orders are charged a flat fee of NZD $35 and are shipped using a standard service (not including boats or paddles).  Paddles are NZD $125 for 2 and 4 piece paddles and NZD $195 for 1 piece paddles.
  • All North American orders are charged a flat fee of NZD $90 and are shipped using a standard service (not including boats or paddles).
  • Standard delivery times for international orders can vary from 5 business days to 6 weeks.
  • Once your item has been dispatched you will receive an email with tracking information.
  • International orders do not come with a signature delivery confirmation.
  • Please do not buy products with eggs or bacon, as international customs do not like this and your order may be confiscated at your own cost (no one wants wasted bacon and eggs!)
  • NZ GST: For international orders New Zealand sales tax (GST) is not included in the price. However the price shown on the website is the price to be paid regardless of the country to be shipped to. 

SPECIAL ORDER ITEMS

  • All orders are shipped from our Christchurch store and usually leave the next working day. If for some reason we don't have the item you ordered we will notify you as soon as possible and let you know when you can expect delivery. Special order for non stocked items vary however are usually 2-6 weeks.

BOATS
Need your boat shipped? No problem! 

Shipping is excluded at time of purchase. The team will calculate this separately after your purchase and contact you with the best rates at the time.

As a cost indication shipping typically starts at $99 for smaller boats and $150 for longer, larger boats. Cost will also vary depending on where in NZ needs to go.

Boats are delivered to your nearest Mainfreight Depot for you to collect from there.

Light, warm, max-breathable

Light as a feather, but when you put it on the warmth is great. Performs pretty much as described in the Beer O'clock review, even just walking on a still day is enough to pass cooling air through it. Reminds me a lot of my old Macpac fibrepile jersey from 1980s. Dries super quick, hardly need to hang it on the line.

Warm and Comfy

Warm even when wet, I wore it for pretty much the whole long trail run. Added a shell when it was windy, but didn’t notice that it was wet. Only thing for me is the sizing runs a bit small. I’m usually a Medium but went Large for this one. Great hoodie, will be using it heaps!

Unbelievable Product

Was very skeptical about this top when the shop told me about it. Had to try to believe it!! I sweat a lot in my core while running (or any form of exercise) and I feel the cold, I've tried so many products to help try keep me warm, and stay warm while out for a few hours in winter. Nothing has matched this top along with the OMM Ultra lite windproof jacket. These two products have made my running so much more enjoyable. I do wear a very lite weight quick drying t shirt underneath this. As this product is quite see through! Can't believe how easy I can breathe as these are lite weight and not super tight against my body. I have the 75gm core hoodie. Thanks Rocky and the team at Further Faster.

Crazy light

It’s lighter than air….. make sure that you don’t float away when you put it on! Super lofty. Works real good with a rainproof layer to keep the wind out for when you stop grinding up them hills. Not sure I’m gunna pack my Marino hoody anymore……
