With the Airstripe back system and the soft-edge shoulder straps, this backpack is comfortable for even longer trips and well-ventilated.

Materials

600D PES: Woven from 600 denier polyester yarn and with a thick PU coating, this tear-resistant and light fabric is highly versatile. Whenever it’s about keeping the weight of the backpack as low as possible with moderate stress, then this is the ideal solution. The “deuter Super Polytex BS” version is produced in compliance with the stringent bluesign® standard. Its features and stress factors are identical.
210D PA: We use this robust polyamide fabric in the 420 and 210 denier strengths. This fabric is extremely abrasion-resistant thanks to the extraordinarily high density of the weave. This high-quality material is used for guide backpacks, the Futura series and for the models in the Travel series. It has a fine texture and a technical appearance. PU coated.

NEW ZEALAND DELIVERY

For delivery of orders within New Zealand, excluding boats and oversized items:

All local orders NZD $199 and over are shipped free using a standard signature-required service.

All local orders under NZD $199 are charged a flat fee of NZD $10 and are shipped using standard signature-required service.
We mostly use Post Haste Couriers as our courier service

Allow 1-2 business days for standard South Island shipping and 2-3 business days for the North Island.

Rural Address and PO box numbers please add business 2 days.

Once your order has been dispatched you will receive an email with tracking information.

Once your order has left the store it is at the mercy of the couriers. Please check your tracking information and contact the couriers if it has not arrived when expected.

HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO RECEIVE MY ORDER?

Allow 1-2 business days for standard South Island shipping and 2-3 business days for the North Island.
Rural Address and PO Boxes, please add 2 more days.
We try our best to get your orders out to you ASAP, however, during our peak times (Christmas, Sale week etc), we may need an extra day to process them.
These estimates are for a perfect world when courier companies work on time and natural disasters and pandemics are at bay. Once it has left the shop it is sometimes up to the shipping gods!

CAN I CHANGE MY ADDRESS AFTER I ORDER?

We can’t change addresses in the system once your order has been placed, however, send an email to hello@furtherfaster.co.nz or call us in-store and we will endeavour to change the address.

WHERE IS MY ORDER:

Once your order has been shipped you will receive a Shipment Order Email. This will have a link to your tracking details, you can use this link to find the location of your parcel and contact the courier company to see how far away it is.
If you have not received a confirmation email within 24hrs, please check your junk box in your email, as some times we need to get in touch with you and emails do happen to end up in there!
Alternatively, speak to our order guru 'Bot-Bruce', and he can find the tracking details for you in the chat section of this pop-up. Just ask him, 'Where is my order?' and follow the prompts 🐻.

INTERNATIONAL DELIVERY (AUSTRALIA, USA)

All Australian orders are charged a flat fee of NZD $35 and are shipped using a standard service (not including boats or paddles). Paddles are NZD $125 for 2 and 4 piece paddles and NZD $195 for 1 piece paddles.
All North American orders are charged a flat fee of NZD $90 and are shipped using a standard service (not including boats or paddles).
Standard delivery times for international orders can vary from 5 business days to 6 weeks.
Once your item has been dispatched you will receive an email with tracking information.
International orders do not come with a signature delivery confirmation.
Please do not buy products with eggs or bacon, as international customs do not like this and your order may be confiscated at your own cost (no one wants wasted bacon and eggs!)
NZ GST: For international orders New Zealand sales tax (GST) is not included in the price. However the price shown on the website is the price to be paid regardless of the country to be shipped to.

SPECIAL ORDER ITEMS

All orders are shipped from our Christchurch store and usually leave the next working day. If for some reason we don't have the item you ordered we will notify you as soon as possible and let you know when you can expect delivery. Special order for non stocked items vary however are usually 2-6 weeks.

BOATS
Need your boat shipped? No problem!

Shipping is excluded at time of purchase. The team will calculate this separately after your purchase and contact you with the best rates at the time.

As a cost indication shipping typically starts at $99 for smaller boats and $150 for longer, larger boats. Cost will also vary depending on where in NZ needs to go.

Boats are delivered to your nearest Mainfreight Depot for you to collect from there.

Best schoolbag my kid has owned

I bought my now 7 year old the Deuter climber pack for hiking and it was such a great pack that I immediately went back to get this pack for him for school. It's very light, really well made and fits a lunchbox, togs, towel, and change of clothes with room for a pack of Pokemon cards in the front. Will be out on the trails as well for day hikes!

Perfect for kids

I was in buying a day pack for myself when my daughter fell in love with the pink pack. It’s turned out to be absolutely great! She chose well. Shes 6 and it fits her perfectly. She’s able to carry her puffer jacket, snacks, a soft toy and water bottle with room to spare. It really is the perfect size for a day pack. She’s very fussy with how things feel on her body but happily wears this pack for hours! Highly recommend.

Great little pack

What a great little first tramping pack. I wanted something that my daughter would be happy to carry that would take enough gear that I could take her comfortably on my own with room in my pack for extra nights if needs be. It was perfect, it fit a sleeping bag, waterproofs, torch, puffer coat, light snacks and a cuddly toy. My just turned 5yo hiked around 11km with it over two days, never once complaining about it and she was able to secure and open it herself. So glad this bag exists!!
