The Pace Magic 30 is a small-volume, lightweight framed backpack that combines body movement, balance, stability, and instant gear access. It's ideal for fastpacking, adventure racing and hiking. This is a great choice for hiking the Camino too.

There are two mesh bottle pockets in the shoulder straps and built-in Hip Balance Pockets for instant access to your gear and food.

Aarn is famous for comfort, and this pack includes the U-Flow harness system, Form-Fitting mesh air gap back-panel and the Auto-Form Hip Belt.

For delivery of orders within New Zealand, excluding boats and oversized items:

All local orders over NZD $149 are shipped free using a standard signature-required service.

All local orders under NZD $149 are charged a flat fee of NZD $8 and are shipped using standard signature-required service.
We mostly use Post Haste Couriers as our courier service

Allow 1-2 business days for standard South Island shipping and 2-3 business days for the North Island.

Rural Address and PO box numbers please add business 2 days.

Once your order has been dispatched you will receive an email with tracking information.

Once your order has left the store it is at the mercy of the couriers. Please check your tracking information and contact the couriers if it has not arrived when expected.

HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO RECEIVE MY ORDER?

Allow 1-2 business days for standard South Island shipping and 2-3 business days for the North Island.
Rural Address and PO Boxes, please add 2 more days.
We try our best to get your orders out to you ASAP, however, during our peak times (Christmas, Sale week etc), we may need an extra day to process them.
These estimates are for a perfect world when courier companies work on time and natural disasters and pandemics are at bay. Once it has left the shop it is sometimes up to the shipping gods!

CAN I CHANGE MY ADDRESS AFTER I ORDER?

We can’t change addresses in the system once your order has been placed, however, send an email to hello@furtherfaster.co.nz or call us in-store and we will endeavour to change the address.

WHERE IS MY ORDER:

Once your order has been shipped you will receive a Shipment Order Email. This will have a link to your tracking details, you can use this link to find the location of your parcel and contact the courier company to see how far away it is.
If you have not received a confirmation email within 24hrs, please check your junk box in your email, as some times we need to get in touch with you and emails do happen to end up in there!
Alternatively, speak to our order guru 'Bot-Bruce', and he can find the tracking details for you in the chat section of this pop-up. Just ask him, 'Where is my order?' and follow the prompts 🐻.

INTERNATIONAL DELIVERY (AUSTRALIA, USA)

All Australian orders are charged a flat fee of NZD $35 and are shipped using a standard service (not including boats or paddles). Paddles are NZD $125 for 2 and 4 piece paddles and NZD $195 for 1 piece paddles.
All North American orders are charged a flat fee of NZD $90 and are shipped using a standard service (not including boats or paddles).
Standard delivery times for international orders can vary from 5 business days to 6 weeks.
Once your item has been dispatched you will receive an email with tracking information.
International orders do not come with a signature delivery confirmation.
Please do not buy products with eggs or bacon, as international customs do not like this and your order may be confiscated at your own cost (no one wants wasted bacon and eggs!)
NZ GST: For international orders New Zealand sales tax (GST) is not included in the price. However the price shown on the website is the price to be paid regardless of the country to be shipped to.

SPECIAL ORDER ITEMS

All orders are shipped from our Christchurch store and usually leave the next working day. If for some reason we don't have the item you ordered we will notify you as soon as possible and let you know when you can expect delivery. Special order for non stocked items vary however are usually 2-6 weeks.

BOATS
Need your boat shipped? No problem!

Shipping is excluded at time of purchase. The team will calculate this separately after your purchase and contact you with the best rates at the time.

As a cost indication shipping typically starts at $99 for smaller boats and $150 for longer, larger boats. Cost will also vary depending on where in NZ needs to go.

Boats are delivered to your nearest Mainfreight Depot for you to collect from there.

Doubled as seat for carrying pre-schooler

This pack saved my back on a recent day hike where I ended up carrying my 4- year-old for a lot of the trip and he very happily sat on the front hip pockets that were stuffed with hats, gloves and snacks (he even fell asleep at one point). Handy front pouches meant snacks and drinks were within easy reach to appease the kiddos. The pack carried enough gear and food for myself and two kids for a full day of hiking yet I didn't feel like I was carrying much at all. My only frustration was the narrow profile which meant taking EVERYTHING out to reach something as I couldn't fit an arm down and grab things. The back system is amazingly comfortable and the double sternum straps meant I actually had space to breathe. The hip belt system is next level amazing. Having had hip issues since pregnancy this is the first belt system that has actually felt like I am secure with no resulting pain or discomfort.
Overall I'm stoked with my investment and I feel prepared for many more family days out exploring.

Comfortable for the long haul

I moved to a 'proper' pack after trying a UD 30ish and another ultralight pack. Whilst this is much heavier, it is a proper pack and more comfortable. Getting it adjusted takes a little fiddling and I still find that it can jump around a bit however it remains comfortable. I've completed a 60km fast pack successfully, plus shorter hikes.
Plenty storage, flasks or larger bottles ok in front. Ice axe loop, stretchy pouch are good.

Comfy slimline pack

Found this pack really comfortable to wear and it's handy having the 'front loading.' A little bit fiddly on and off with the cords attaching the front compartments to the main pack. Also beware that it's a very slim profile so you need to pack into it rather than try and stuff a full dry sack in for example.
