U-Flow shoulder straps allow free shoulder movement while ensuring optimal pack stability, reducing fatigue buildup, and increasing your balance.
Breathable stretch 3D mesh that auto-moulds to the natural slope of your shoulders.
Back length adjustable while wearing the pack for a dialed-in fit.

Lightweight Auto-Form Hip Belt:

Dual-adjustment hip belt tensioning system allows you to adjust the top and bottom straps separately so you can fine-tune the hip belt fit.

For delivery of orders within New Zealand, excluding boats and oversized items:

All local orders over NZD $149 are shipped free using a standard signature-required service.

All local orders under NZD $149 are charged a flat fee of NZD $8 and are shipped using standard signature-required service.
We mostly use Post Haste Couriers as our courier service

Allow 1-2 business days for standard South Island shipping and 2-3 business days for the North Island.

Rural Address and PO box numbers please add business 2 days.

Once your order has been dispatched you will receive an email with tracking information.

Once your order has left the store it is at the mercy of the couriers. Please check your tracking information and contact the couriers if it has not arrived when expected.

HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO RECEIVE MY ORDER?

Allow 1-2 business days for standard South Island shipping and 2-3 business days for the North Island.

We try our best to get your orders out to you ASAP, however, during our peak times (Christmas, Sale week etc), we may need an extra day to process them.

We can’t change addresses in the system once your order has been placed, however, send an email to hello@furtherfaster.co.nz or call us in-store and we will endeavour to change the address.

WHERE IS MY ORDER:

Once your order has been shipped you will receive a Shipment Order Email. This will have a link to your tracking details, you can use this link to find the location of your parcel and contact the courier company to see how far away it is.
If you have not received a confirmation email within 24hrs, please check your junk box in your email, as some times we need to get in touch with you and emails do happen to end up in there!
Alternatively, speak to our order guru 'Bot-Bruce', and he can find the tracking details for you in the chat section of this pop-up. Just ask him, 'Where is my order?' and follow the prompts 🐻.

INTERNATIONAL DELIVERY (AUSTRALIA, USA)

All Australian orders are charged a flat fee of NZD $35 and are shipped using a standard service (not including boats or paddles). Paddles are NZD $125 for 2 and 4 piece paddles and NZD $195 for 1 piece paddles.
All North American orders are charged a flat fee of NZD $90 and are shipped using a standard service (not including boats or paddles).
Standard delivery times for international orders can vary from 5 business days to 6 weeks.
Once your item has been dispatched you will receive an email with tracking information.
International orders do not come with a signature delivery confirmation.
Please do not buy products with eggs or bacon, as international customs do not like this and your order may be confiscated at your own cost (no one wants wasted bacon and eggs!)
NZ GST: For international orders New Zealand sales tax (GST) is not included in the price. However the price shown on the website is the price to be paid regardless of the country to be shipped to.

SPECIAL ORDER ITEMS

All orders are shipped from our Christchurch store and usually leave the next working day. If for some reason we don't have the item you ordered we will notify you as soon as possible and let you know when you can expect delivery. Special order for non stocked items vary however are usually 2-6 weeks.

BOATS
Need your boat shipped? No problem!

Shipping is excluded at time of purchase. The team will calculate this separately after your purchase and contact you with the best rates at the time.

As a cost indication shipping typically starts at $99 for smaller boats and $150 for longer, larger boats. Cost will also vary depending on where in NZ needs to go.

Boats are delivered to your nearest Mainfreight Depot for you to collect from there.

The one pack to rule them all

I’ve been tramping for several decades and over that time have accumulated a bunch of packs as I’ve searched for the right combination of weight, load capacity, features and comfort. In the Mountain Magic Pro 50 I have finally found my perfect pack. I may have been skeptical about balance pockets concept, but now I am an absolute convert. I can’t get over how much more upright I can walk and how natural the pack feels when moving through tricky terrain. Overall, I arrive at my destination less tired and sore. The host of features of this pack belie its light weight. It’s an absolute winner.

Best pack ever

I have used Aarn packs for years and they have finally made the perfect pack. It is big enough that I can get 7 days worth of gear and food (including tent), but not a ridiculous size for an overnight trip too. The frame is made to handle the weight of 7 days worth of gear, that was my problem with older similar size packs as they were only made to carry about 10-12 kgs. Also, it is really comfortable. I brought the large size shoulder straps, I am not tall but have somewhat wide shoulders and found that size fits better.

Aarn Mountain Magic 50 PRO

Having been on the receiving end of packs that claimed to be the "gold standard" in comfort and weight distribution I was amazed when I wore this pack from the very outset! I was a bit dubious after seeing people wearing these packs with pockets in the front. How wrong I was. So comfortable, the harness moves with your body not you body to the harness. I should have used these packs years ago. I am converted! I am busy spreading the word to anyone who asks.
The team at Furtherfaster are also super easy to deal with online and very responsive.

A fantastic piece of kit

I’ve taken this bag on a few hikes now and the amount of small adjustments you can make to it to ensure it’s comfortable is astounding. The amount of airflow to your back is fantastic, making those hot walks far more comfortable. The pockets at the front are great for carrying a range of things, and even when I’ve had my camera and lens in one of them, you don’t notice the weight whatsoever. The straps that move with your movement are incredible aswell, creating a bag that flows with your movements, making going over uneven terrain such as rocks or roots much easier as your weight is distributed evenly, meaning you’re not worrying about your bag throwing you anywhere, just on the trail ahead. I couldn’t recommend this bag more - and I’m looking forward to using it throughout summer and putting it to the test!
