Barossa with your Best Bud!!
Sally, her girls and their special pup Holly finished the Mountain Dog Challenge with gusto. They loved Mt Barossa the best and here is why.
Holly and I loved the mountain dog challenge!! It added some adventure into my somewhat mundane life as a stay at home Mum!! It was also was a great excuse to get my young daughters up into the hills.

My favourite peak was Mt Barossa. The track was beautiful and challenging, plus I was totally blown away by the view at the top!! What a special place! Also, you can pop by the Stavely store for a cinnamon brioche on the way home… #priorities!
Holly in the back country exploring the best Canterbury has to offer!
My go-to piece of kit is definitely a water/rainproof jacket. You need to be prepared when you go into the hills and it's almost always windy and cold on the tops. You can even get a jacket for your dog which helps keep them warm, or the mud and rain off if they have a long coat like Holly.
Holly has a certain knack for the selfie! #mountaindogchallenge #furtherfasternz
Holly has earned her FREE Mountain Dog Challenge Bandana, and I got a sweet MDC hoodie from the shop too (available to buy as limited editions a few times a year). I wear it with pride knowing my girls have all become Mountain Women, doing and seeing things we wouldn’t have, if we hadn’t joined this group. Thanks heaps team!

So, get amongst it!! It's a great to way to build your bond with your furry friend and to see some different parts of Canterbury!!
You can get your doggo a FREE Mountain Dog Challenge Bandana by sharing all your summit success stories on Facebook and/or Instagram with #mountaindogchallenge #furtherfasternz @furtherfasternz
