The wider hull, evolved rail design, and a completely revised rocker profile create what might be the loosest half-slice design we have ever paddled. Incorporating lessons learnt from the ReactR, the Storm allows you to lock in directional control by engaging the rails on a wave, in a hole, or while paddling downstream, and spins like a hurricane to your delight when flat.

The Storm’s volume distribution is designed to keep the bow dry when paddling, but allow lightning-fast engagement and response with impressive pop for bigger air when throwing downriver moves.

A refined bow shape and a strong recurved rocker profile at the tail boost the speed of the Storm. The overall waterline has been developed to maintain that speed and lower the planning barrier, meaning surfing has less resistance on waves of all sizes and depths.

The Storm is a revolutionised half-slice design, available in three sizes, each offering unrestrained freeride potential.

  • A freeride ½ slice, which is short and loose enough to maximise play potential.
  • The performance of this kayak is elevated by sidewalls and rails, which encourage you to get stuck into and play in new features while always being in control.
  • A contoured hull allows for better, faster transitions between those rails.
  • The large planing surface, with width maintained throughout the kayak’s length, and great release edges loosen up the hull and make the Storm come alive on a wave.
  • A well-balanced tail slices smoothly and has the width and volume to generate skips out of drops and remain on the surface when headed downstream.
  • The recurved stern lifts when planing to give a longer effective waterline than the kayak’s apparent length, especially satisfying when paddling downstream or surfing.

NEW ZEALAND DELIVERY

For delivery of orders within New Zealand, excluding boats and oversized items:

  • All local orders NZD $199 and over are shipped free using a standard signature-required service.
  • All local orders under NZD $199 are charged a flat fee of NZD $10 and are shipped using standard signature-required service.
  • We mostly use Post Haste Couriers as our courier service
  • Allow 1-2 business days for standard South Island shipping and 2-3 business days for the North Island.
  • Rural Address and PO box numbers please add business 2 days.
  • Once your order has been dispatched you will receive an email with tracking information.
  • Once your order has left the store it is at the mercy of the couriers. Please check your tracking information and contact the couriers if it has not arrived when expected.

HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO RECEIVE MY ORDER?

  • Allow 1-2 business days for standard South Island shipping and 2-3 business days for the North Island.
  • Rural Address and PO Boxes, please add 2 more days.
  • We try our best to get your orders out to you ASAP, however, during our peak times (Christmas, Sale week etc), we may need an extra day to process them.
  • These estimates are for a perfect world when courier companies work on time and natural disasters and pandemics are at bay. Once it has left the shop it is sometimes up to the shipping gods!

CAN I CHANGE MY ADDRESS AFTER I ORDER?

  • We can’t change addresses in the system once your order has been placed, however, send an email to hello@furtherfaster.co.nz or call us in-store and we will endeavour to change the address.
  • Please let us know before order cut off at 1pm daily.

INSTORE PICK UP / CLICK & COLLECT

  • We offer an in-store pick up service.
  • This is contactless, please order online and choose Pick-Up.
  • You will be notified when your order is ready for collection.
  • Collection can be made during opening hours at

WHERE IS MY ORDER: 

  • Once your order has been shipped you will receive a Shipment Order Email. This will have a link to your tracking details, you can use this link to find the location of your parcel and contact the courier company to see how far away it is.
  • If you have not received a confirmation email within 24hrs, please check your junk box in your email, as some times we need to get in touch with you and emails do happen to end up in there!
  • Alternatively, speak to our order guru 'Bot-Bruce', and he can find the tracking details for you in the chat section of this pop-up. Just ask him, 'Where is my order?' and follow the prompts 🐻.


INTERNATIONAL DELIVERY

  • Standard delivery times for international orders can vary from 5 business days to 3 weeks depending on where you are in the world. ie Australian orders typically arrive within a week, where as places further away can take 2-3 weeks.
  • Once your item has been dispatched you will receive an email with tracking information.
  • International orders do not come with a signature delivery confirmation.
  • Please do not buy products with eggs or bacon, as international customs do not like this and your order may be confiscated at your own cost (no one wants wasted bacon and eggs!)
  • NZ GST: For international orders New Zealand sales tax (GST) is not included in the price. However the price shown on the website is the price to be paid regardless of the country to be shipped to. 
  • AUSTRALIA DELIVERIES: All Australian orders are charged a flat fee of NZD $35 and are shipped using a standard service (not including boats or paddles).  Paddles are NZD $125 for 2 and 4 piece paddles and NZD $195 for 1 piece paddles.

SPECIAL ORDER ITEMS

  • All orders are shipped from our Christchurch store and usually leave the next working day once it has arrived. If for some reason we don't have the item you ordered we will notify you as soon as possible and let you know when you can expect delivery. Special order for non stocked items vary however are usually 2-6 weeks.

BOATS
Need your boat shipped? No problem!
