The second in our series of Intrinsically Safe headlamps, the Quad® II provides unparalleled design and performance. The Quad® II shares the same basic design principles as the original and proven Quad® but takes it up to a Cl 1 UL Div. 1 rating. The fundamental lighting characteristic of the Quad® provides a vast amount of area light for all purpose needs and performing up-close tasks. The light beam is smooth and wide allowing you to work with your hands without glare or reflection. The housing is constructed to endure all conditions. With its robust walls, superior materials, and waterproof design, the Quad® II is suited for any environment. The Quad® II is powered by 3 AAA batteries allowing for a compact footprint, and includes a rubber strap for hard hat use along with industrial 3M Dual LockTM and a nylon strap for use as a standard headlamp.

The highest quality LED available, the Ultrabright LED is bright and efficient. The smooth, white, wide-beam light emitted by Ultrabright LEDs is ideal for close to mid-range tasks. Ultrabright LEDs are usually grouped together to offer a more powerful light source. Advances currently underway will continue to improve the effi ciency and brightness of Ultrabright LEDs.
Waterproof Level 2 Princeton Tec’s intermediate rating, Level 2, is assigned to lights that offer a degree of water protection equivalent to IPX7 in the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) standards. Lights rated at Level 2 provide waterproof integrity down to 1 meter for up to 30 minutes.

Battery Power Meter
The battery power meter provides you with continuous feedback on the condition of the batteries, indicating high, medium or low battery life. This information allows you to make educated decisions about changing batteries or packing spare batteries.
