The helmet features a 2-piece shell construction with a rigid, energy-absorbing EPS foam puck on top and softer, semi-rigid EPP foam sides. With this, the Capitan E meets the proposed UIAA increased side and back protection requirements. The Capitan’s vents provide ample breathability when temps heat up, and a low-profile suspension system helps you dial in the fit.
