Wilderness Equipment Ultralight Overhang - Medium
Engineered tarps for the fast and light.
This ultra-light range of Overhangs uses 30 denier high-tenacity nylon 66 fabric with a silicone elastomer coating on BOTH sides.
The high relative strength and natural elasticity of this fabric make it an ideal choice for these tensile canopies.
The silicone takes care of the UV exposure.
Don't be fooled, these simple looking products incorporate an uncommon level of sophisticated design and construction detail to make them the best pitching and strongest available.
Our trade-mark tear-drop guy attachment is now years old.
We devised it, not as a universal guy cord pouch but because simple triangular reinforcing patches build-in new weaknesses.
There is hardly a trip that we don't take an Overhang along - when we didn't, we usually wished we had!
They are so useful during stops en route and on wet lay days.
Looking at the medium size, at roughly 3 metres square and just 700 grams you can easily see why.
All sizes in the Overhang range feature a reinforced ridge seam and simple, fully-catenary-cut fabric panels either side of this main seam.
The guys attach to the tarp fabric body via our unique design, tear-drop shaped, reinforced, double-layer patches that incorporate pockets into which guy cords can be stashed.
These patches that distributes stress into the fabric panels better than any other simple reinforcement system. You can have confidence that your Overhang will resist high winds and, thanks to the guy cord pocket feature, it won't come out of its stuff sac a hopeless tangle of cords!
The ultralight 30d Nylon tent fabric is the optimal fabric choice for a shelter expected to perform in a wide range of conditions where weight is critical.
The silicone coating offers UV protection to fine denier yarns, and hydrophobia nature makes for fast shedding of water.
A well cared for and maintained UL 30d Overhang will give many years of reliable service.

NEW ZEALAND DELIVERY
For delivery of orders within New Zealand, excluding boats:
- All local orders over NZD $149 are shipped free using a standard signature required service.
- All local orders under NZD $149 are charged a flat fee of NZD $8 and are shipped using standard signature required service.
- We use Post Haste Couriers as our courier service
- Allow 4 business days for standard South Island shipping and 5 business days for the North Island.
- Rural Address and PO box numbers please add business 2 days.
- Once your order has been dispatched you will receive an email with tracking information.
- Once your order has left the store it is at the mercy of the couriers. Please check your tracking information and contact the couriers if it has not arrived when expected.
HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO RECEIVE MY ORDER?
- Allow 1-2 business days for standard South Island shipping and 2-3 business days for the North Island.
- Rural Address and PO Boxes, please add 2 more days.
- We try our best to get your orders out to you ASAP, however, during our peak times (Christmas, Sale week etc), we may need an extra day to process them.
- These estimates are for a perfect world when courier companies work on time and natural disasters and pandemics are at bay. Once it has left the shop it is sometimes up to the shipping gods!

CAN I CHANGE MY ADDRESS AFTER I ORDER?
- We can’t change addresses in the system once your order has been placed, however, send an email to hello@furtherfaster.co.nz or call us in-store and we will endeavour to change the address.
- Please let us know before order cut off at 1pm daily.
INSTORE PICK UP / CLICK & COLLECT
- We offer an in-store pick up service.
- This is contactless, please order online and choose Pick-Up.
- You will be notified when your order is ready for collection.

WHERE IS MY ORDER:
- Once your order has been shipped you will receive a Shipment Order Email. This will have a link to your tracking details, you can use this link to find the location of your parcel and contact the courier company to see how far away it is.
- If you have not received a confirmation email within 24hrs, please check your junk box in your email, as some times we need to get in touch with you and emails do happen to end up in there!
- Alternatively, speak to our order guru 'Bot-Bruce', and he can find the tracking details for you in the chat section of this pop-up. Just ask him, 'Where is my order?' and follow the prompts 🐻.
INTERNATIONAL DELIVERY (AUSTRALIA, USA)
- All Australian orders are charged a flat fee of NZD $35 and are shipped using a standard service (not including boats or paddles). Paddles are NZD $125 for 2 and 4 piece paddles and NZD $195 for 1 piece paddles.
- All North American orders are charged a flat fee of NZD $90 and are shipped using a standard service (not including boats or paddles).
- Standard delivery times for international orders can vary from 5 business days to 6 weeks.
- Once your item has been dispatched you will receive an email with tracking information.
- International orders do not come with a signature delivery confirmation.
- Please do not buy products with eggs or bacon, as international customs do not like this and your order may be confiscated at your own cost (no one wants wasted bacon and eggs!)
SPECIAL ORDER ITEMS
- All orders are shipped from our Christchurch store and usually leave the next day. If for some reason we don't have the item you ordered we will notify you as soon as possible and let you know when you can expect delivery. Special order for non stocked items vary however are usually 2-6 weeks.
BOATS

Need your boat shipped? No problem! Shipping is excluded at time of purchase. The team will calculate this separately after your purchase and contact you with the best rates for you at the time.
- As a cost indication shipping typically starts at $99 for smaller boats and $150 for longer, larger boats. This is based on where in NZ your boat needs to go and which boat you purchase.
- Boats are delivered to your nearest Mainfreight Depot for you to collect from there.
