Boot Bananas are a fragrant and moisture-absorbing shoe deodorisers for climbing boots, running shoes or any other “fruity” footwear.

as part of your shoe care routine, works best with new shoes to prevent odour developing from the start.

Cotton is a wonderful breathable fabric that allows the active ingredients to absorb moisture and neutralise odour. It is however prone to disColor & your Boot Bananas Original Shoe Deodorisers will turn brown over time especially with high frequency use.

They will remain effective even if they have turned slightly brown, but you can use this transformation to gauge how ripe your bananas are! This indicates how much moisture has been absorbed. Replace when common sense dictates.

Some rock boots have a tendency to dye feet a bright Color and this may happen to your bananas as well, this will not impact their effectiveness. We recommend that Boot Bananas Original Shoe Deodorisers are replaced every 6 – 12 months. If you do not care for your bananas they may not last as long.

As with all things, you will get the most from your Boot Bananas Original Shoe Deodorisers if you care for them.

Dry out your Original Shoe Deodorisers from time to time. If you have had a hard training session and they’ve absorbed a lot of foot sweat hang them up to dry in the sun or near a radiator. Everyone sweats different amounts and so it varies from person to person, but we recommend doing this approximately every 1 to 2 weeks. If forgetful have 2 pairs on rotation, so one is always hanging up to dry!
Make sure to remove your bananas from footwear when drying
Do not expose your Original Shoe Deodorisers to extreme cold. For example if they are accidentally left in a cold car overnight then follow one of the drying steps above to revive them and give the bananas a squeeze if the cold has caused the ingredients to compact
You can store your Original Shoe Deodorisers back in the zip lock packaging when not in use, but make sure they are dry before doing so

For delivery of orders within New Zealand, excluding boats:

All local orders over NZD $149 are shipped free using a standard signature required service.

All local orders under NZD $149 are charged a flat fee of NZD $8 and are shipped using standard signature required service.
We use Post Haste Couriers as our courier service

Allow 4 business days for standard South Island shipping and 5 business days for the North Island.

Rural Address and PO box numbers please add business 2 days.

Once your order has been dispatched you will receive an email with tracking information.

Once your order has left the store it is at the mercy of the couriers. Please check your tracking information and contact the couriers if it has not arrived when expected.

HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO RECEIVE MY ORDER?

Allow 1-2 business days for standard South Island shipping and 2-3 business days for the North Island.
Rural Address and PO Boxes, please add 2 more days.
We try our best to get your orders out to you ASAP, however, during our peak times (Christmas, Sale week etc), we may need an extra day to process them.
These estimates are for a perfect world when courier companies work on time and natural disasters and pandemics are at bay. Once it has left the shop it is sometimes up to the shipping gods!

CAN I CHANGE MY ADDRESS AFTER I ORDER?

We can’t change addresses in the system once your order has been placed, however, send an email to hello@furtherfaster.co.nz or call us in-store and we will endeavour to change the address.

This is contactless, please order online and choose Pick-Up.
You will be notified when your order is ready for collection.

WHERE IS MY ORDER:

Once your order has been shipped you will receive a Shipment Order Email. This will have a link to your tracking details, you can use this link to find the location of your parcel and contact the courier company to see how far away it is.
If you have not received a confirmation email within 24hrs, please check your junk box in your email, as some times we need to get in touch with you and emails do happen to end up in there!
Alternatively, speak to our order guru 'Bot-Bruce', and he can find the tracking details for you in the chat section of this pop-up. Just ask him, 'Where is my order?' and follow the prompts 🐻.

INTERNATIONAL DELIVERY (AUSTRALIA, USA)

All Australian orders are charged a flat fee of NZD $35 and are shipped using a standard service (not including boats or paddles). Paddles are NZD $125 for 2 and 4 piece paddles and NZD $195 for 1 piece paddles.
All North American orders are charged a flat fee of NZD $90 and are shipped using a standard service (not including boats or paddles).
Standard delivery times for international orders can vary from 5 business days to 6 weeks.
Once your item has been dispatched you will receive an email with tracking information.
International orders do not come with a signature delivery confirmation.
Please do not buy products with eggs or bacon, as international customs do not like this and your order may be confiscated at your own cost (no one wants wasted bacon and eggs!)

SPECIAL ORDER ITEMS

All orders are shipped from our Christchurch store and usually leave the next day. If for some reason we don't have the item you ordered we will notify you as soon as possible and let you know when you can expect delivery. Special order for non stocked items vary however are usually 2-6 weeks.

BOATS

Need your boat shipped? No problem! Shipping is excluded at time of purchase. The team will calculate this separately after your purchase and contact you with the best rates for you at the time.
As a cost indication shipping typically starts at $99 for smaller boats and $150 for longer, larger boats. This is based on where in NZ your boat needs to go and which boat you purchase.
Boats are delivered to your nearest Mainfreight Depot for you to collect from there.

Very happy

For $30 these are great at fighting show odour, I use them in climbing shoes (the worst offenders), and they made a big difference right away. The bananas seem to do a good job of absorbing odour and sweat and also have a mild pleasant fragrance.
Only thing I was surprised to see was the discolouration on the bananas as a result of a absorbing moisture, they don’t ‘look’ as fresh anymore but still smell fine.
